Savestate is a light-hearted comedy driven comic with some story progression. It mainly focuses on humour related to games made by Nintendo, and generally 'nerd' culture; however the jokes are simple enough that most fans of any of the series, or even casual players, can understand them.
It's art is crisp and beautiful, and does not come across as rushed. It's use of humanoid animals as characters gives it a fresh look and is quite appealing.
