“Bluff Creek” is the coming-of-age story of a young sasquatch named Shadow banished from his hidden, insular world in the Pacific Northwest who wanders east across America, and the adventures he has and lessons he learns from the many diverse species of wildlife he encounters along the way. The theme at its core is about growing up, the way every child must eventually leave the comforts of home and family, experience new things and decide for themselves which of their beliefs and traditions merit holding on to and which should be left behind.
