Gateway is a fantasy webcomic about a young mage, an ipotane (a centaur-like creature with only the hind legs of a horse), and some Earth twins. Sandra di Fiore is a simple mage who's great at many things, but when her best friend Roan and herself land in a world unlike her colorful, magical realm, they realize there's more to the universe than just magic. Along the way, they make friends with a set of twins, Shir and Shifra Singh, two teens struggling in the music business, and make enemies with a long-forgotten warlock. The three teens (and a talking horse) race against time to save Earth, all the while trying to figure out a way for Sandra and Roan to return home.
