Originally this started out as a backstory for a 'Fantasy Age' character that ended up taking on a life of it's own. The story follows the everyday experiences of what it's like to grow up and have all the constant pressures of remaining flawless in the eyes of others.
The main character was inspired by the dark elves of Norse Mythology and Thranduil from the Hobbit movies.
