‘Inspector Rishi’ follows the mystery-solving adventures of Rishi Nandhan, a fictional police inspector from the Criminal Investigation Department, Tamilnadu, India. In the first story in the series titled ‘The Legend of Vana Yakshi’, the skeptic and quick-minded Rishi investigates a series of bizarre murders in a small mountain village supposedly by a mythical ‘vana yakshi’ (native name for a blood sucking forest nymph).
