Objects are all around us. Inanimate and void of consciousness, they cater to our wills: a father's gift,a child's toy, a harmless plaything. Simple items of desire. We infect many objects with our emotions, granting life and purpose to the lifeless.
But sometimes it is we in their sphere of influence. Sometimes the inanimate aren't our playthings. Sometimes... we are theirs.
