The Extinction War was started on Earth, and it spread to every planet of the galaxy. The fighting only stopped after the Humans went extinct. Now, thousands of years later a mere handful of organic species remain, and humans are long-dead monsters of legend. The galaxy is ruled by the Solar Robot Empire, and the only resistance is from outlaw Space Pirates. Greatest in infamy is The Dread Captain Lazarus, the most feared being alive. How this monster from the past survived no-one knows, but fear grips the soul of any sentient being that dares to speak of THE LAST HUMAN.
