Tally Llewellyn has just started a new job, and things are decidedly strange. On an island in the Hudson Bay just south of Manhattan is a house, haunted by its owners, a veteran of the Great War and his unhappy wife. Just as things start to look up for Tally, things turn even stranger. Mysteries surround the island, her home, and even her past. As they begin to unravel, Tally begins to discover the real nature of her world, and where she belongs in it.
