Sam lives the life of a modern-day hermit, spending much of his time lost in the fantasy worlds of video games, trying to escape his existance in the most isolated city in the world: Perth, Australia. Family circumstances force Sam into a sharehouse with Leon, a peppy South African guy who loves to party.
