Vorto the Pirate is an adventure strip in the tradition of Terry and the Pirates, Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon and Captain Easy. It's two-fisted adventure on the high seas of space. Although it is sci-fi, it is far closer to the more fanciful sub-genres of space opera and planetary romance than it is to hard science fiction.
